Spring update

Well, I guess I'm not very good at posting updates but that's only because I'm really busy: working, working out, hanging out with friends... that takes a lot of time.  So, I had a great birthday celebration. Many of my friends came and it was a lot of fun. See, on this picture I have a flower in my hair which was on a side of a Japanese desert at Nabu that they gave me with huge "Happy Birthday" sign. That was a very nice surprise and I LOVED the flower. I had it in my hair most of the night.

I'm very glad that volleyball season started and I'm enjoying every minute of the game. It's my new passion and a hobby. I have set myself a goal how much I want to improve and I'm working on it. I go playing any time I have a chance and at any weather. Rain or shine!

Oh, and here is something interesting ... a full report on results of my IQ test.

So here is a something to think about.. I used to say that I'll  never sing karaoke just becuase I know I'm not a good singer. But thanks to my friends who made me try, I found out that I can do it better than I thought and really enjoyed it. So... past Wednesday night I sang my first song and on Friday I sang about 4... It was a blast... Here are some pics..

Well, here we go... Xmas is over and even the New Year celebration has passed. I had a lot of fun on both holidays with good friends and host family. Work is good and I go out with new friends on weekends. I moved to a new place and picked out furniture and TV... It took me a while to settle in, but I'm finally done. I really enjoy my work and what makes it even bertter I'm looking forward to going to work because my coworkers are great and fun people. Things are getting better every day...

It's been a while... Here is what I've been up to...

Last Saturday I went to a rock climbing gym with my friends and had a blast! I've climbed before but only the portable walls you see in the malls... and I went repelling at my friend's house on the wall he had built.. but nothing can compare to THIS! It was great! I went through a safety class and learned how to tie all the knots, which was cool too. On my first attempt I climbed 60 feet path in about 2 minutes. It was outside and felt awesome. The next one was about 80 or 90 feet and I couldn't reach for the third to last rock on that climb.  I wish I was taller!!!!!!! Even jumping to it didn't help... After that climb I had the weirdest feeling in my life - my fingers were cramping up in the weird position shaping my hand for the next grip. I had to bend them outwards trying to stretch out. I was really hungry so we all went to eat in the place near by.  Of course I couldn't quit after 2 climbs only.. so we went back and I picked out the tallest climb they had = 120 feet. It had some wave to it which was a bit challenging and really neat to do. We were all tired but wanted to see how much more we can handle so my friends cheered me on to go first. The higher I climbed the more I liked it. At the very top I realized that rocks were placed further and further from each other. It looked like some rocks were missing... I had to jump off the rocks I balanced on to get a grip on the next one and then pull up. It was an incredible workout! But soon enough even jumping didn't help. I couldn't reach for the next rock... I hated that I had to quit but I didn't give up. I had about 15 feet left...or 20 rocks.. It will be my first climb the next time I go!

So, having said all that... I must add that we also went to a Piano Bar in Addison for a 'Going Away' party for one of my friends. It was great and pretty different from a typical bar. The picture on left is from that night...

Well, it's definetelly been a while since my last entry. Long story short, I moved to Dallas, got a job... Then I got THE job, which I'm really enjoying. It's really funny how much it reminds me the movie "Office space" - it's UNBELIEVABLE! (Thank GOD I don't have to do TPS reports...)

Anyway, here is a link to .05 second video of my cubical. You tell me if it's 'Office space' or not...
